Harassed by Female rentapig at Tempe Library.
I was sitting in front of the Library reading Teleguia as I often do.
I wasn't the only person out there, there were many other people waiting for the library to open.
A female rentapig came by and asked me to move to the bench and sit there instead of sitting on the ground.
I got up and said sure. And I was standing during this whole conservation. Although I had not yet moved to the bench.
Then I asked here exactly what law I was breaking.
She said I wasn't breaking any law, but it looked like I was loitering. And it would be better if I was on the bench instead of on the ground.
Then I asked her why it was not OK to look like your loitering where I was, but it was OK to look like I was loitering on the bench.
The she said that I wasn't really breaking any laws, but I was breaking the Library policy.
So next I asked her what Library policy was I breaking. And where I could see the library policy.
Instead of saying what library policy I was breaking she said it was an "unpublished" library policy that I could not look at.
She told me if I had a problem with it to take it up with the management. Not her.
Then she gets mad, because I want to know the law, or library policy she is telling me to obey and starts talking to me in a very harsh voice like I'm doing something wrong and says something to the effect:
Quit arguing with me, and just do what I say.
Well, of course I was NOT arguing with her. I was just asking her what law I was breaking. And she refused to tell me.
And I was doing what she told me to do.
I got up and stopped reading my magazine.
And instead of going to the bench she asked me to go to, I simply asked her for an explanation of what law I was breaking.
Sounds like this little piggy is getting sued with a Title 42, Section 1983 civil rights lawsuit.
Here are what my notes said:
8:85 a.m. Female library pig tells me I can't sit in front of the library on floor & I have to sit on bench
Then she says I'm not breaking any law.
But I'm breaking a library policy
Then when I ask the policy she says it's an "unpublished" secret library policy.
Then she gets mad because I want to know the law # I'm breaking and says:
Quit questioning me, and do what I say.
