Arizona Libertarian Party endorses RAD initiative to legalize all drugs.

At yesterday's, Sunday, June 25, 2017 Libertarian Party meeting at the Classic Crust Pizza in Phoenix, the Arizona Libertarian Party voted unanimously to endorse the RAD 2018 initiative to legalize all drugs.

The RAD or Releglize All Drug 2018 initiative calls for 100% complete and total legalization of all drugs including marijuana, heroin, cocaine, LSD, alcohol and all other drugs and forbids the state of Arizona from taxing or regulating any legal or illegal drug.

RAD admits drugs abuse can be a problem, but RAD thinks that drug abuse, if it is a problem, should be a medical problem, between you and your doctor, not a criminal problem between you and the government.

We don’t arrest and send people to prison who have problems with legal drugs like tobacco or alcohol, and we should not be arresting and sending people to prison who have problems with marijuana, cocaine and other drugs.

This is the RAD initiative to legalize all drugs:

The Arizona Libertarian Party also voted to endorse the Safer Arizona 2018 initiative to legalize marijuana.

While the Safer Arizona initiative doesn’t completely legalize marijuana, like the RAD initiative does, it is a step in the right direction and would make Arizona a better place if passed.

Under the Safer Arizona initiative it is still illegal to grow or sell marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

The Safer Arizona initiative also makes it illegal to grow marijuana that is visible from a public place.

The Safer Arizona initiative only allows a person to grow 48 plants without a sales tax license. The Safer Arizona initiative also requires a sales tax license to sell marijuana.

The Safer Arizona initiative allows city and county governments to pass zoning laws which can be used to severely restrict marijuana businesses.

The Safer Arizona initiative only allows people 21 or over to use, possess, sell or grow recreational marijuana.
