It has a lot of problems. The original version of the Safer Arizona initiative that me, Dave and Alex wrote didn't have any of the following problems which Tom Dean added to the initiative. Instead of defending the Safer Arizona initiative and all it's problems you instead attack me. Well you did defend the Safer Arizona initiative once, and said it was better than the AZFRM initiative. Big stinking deal. I guess it's easier to attack the messenger, then to defend a phoney baloney initiative that doesn't really legalize marijuana. The Safer Arizona initiative as written by Tom Dean allows people to be arrested who: 1) grow more than 48 marijuana plants without a license 2) grow marijuana within 1000 feet of a school 3) grow marijuana that is visible from the public It also allows city and county governments to pass zoning laws that can be used to severely restrict and limit marijuana businesses. And because it doesn't say anything about tax licenses, I suspect the Arizona legislature will pass laws that make it a felony to commit a marijuana crime when you don't have the tax license. Please defend your initiative instead of attacking me. And of course the RAD initiative doesn't have any of those problems.
