| Burglary at the lockers?
A couple of days ago on Sunday, October 28, 2018 I came in a little late, maybe at 6:10 a.m., 6:15 a.m. or 6:20 a.m. Usually I come at 6 a.m. But you know that. I'm sure you guys look at the gatekeeper logs all the time.
I didn't notice anything out of place at that time.
That doesn't mean there wasn't something out of place. It just means if something was out of place, I didn't notice it.
I got my stuff and left like I always do. I probably left around 6:30 a.m. or 6:40 a.m. I ate a can of beans before leaving.
Around 9:00 a.m. I came back and dropped off my stuff and left again.
At that time I did notice a small safe next to the hole in the block fence on the west side of the place. The safe was maybe 18 inches or 2 feet on each side.
The hole is the hole in the block fence. The hole has been there at least 6 months or so. It's on the west side of the place close to the south side of the place. I know it was there when Tara was the manager.
The safe was one of those electronic kinds with a keypad, not a dial. I don't like them because I have heard they have "back doors" that can be used to enter them.
It also had one of those locks on the front with a round key. I think they are called circle pin tumbler locks, radial locks, or Ace locks.
Again I don't like safes with key locks on them. Somebody can take your keys at gunpoint from you and use your keys to open the safe.
Kind of like the Phoenix Police did to me in 1997 when they handcuffed me and used my keys to break into my Phoenix home. Which they trashed. And didn't find anything illegal in. They didn't have a search warrant either. They were just criminal cops who decided to break into my house and illegally search it. I'm sure if I had a safe with a key, they would have used my keys to illegally break into it and illegally search it.
The hole in the fence also looked like it had been enlarged. So the safe would fit thru it. [Later I got some photos I took around June 10, 2018 and compared them to photos I took 2 days ago and they did enlarge the hole. The old hole was 2 bricks high by 1 & 1/2 bricks wide when I took the 1st photos on June 10, 2018. The new hole seems to be 3 bricks high by 1 & 1/2 bricks wide in the photos I shot on October 29, 2018]
It looked like there were new chunks of mortar and brick on the ground on the locker side and on the stack of lumber on the Ace Hardware side. Like somebody had just enlarged the hole to get the safe thru.
After looking at the safe in the driveway, I went back to my locker to put my stuff away. While I was in my locker I heard some noise so I left my locker and looked outside.
Thru the hole in the fence, I noticed a guy with a monkey wrench or pipe wrench. [You asked me what he looked like and about all I remember is he was white, and probably younger them me. And maybe he had long hair. Of course long hair is all relative. I saw him from my locker, which is a good distance from the hole]
As soon as he saw me he backed off and seemed to leave. Or at least moved away from the hole so I couldn't see him.
I don't go talk to him.
I went back to my locker and I put my stuff away, then I left again. Probably around 9:30 a.m. or so. You have my times from the computer gatekeeper.
When I came back around 5:30 p.m. that day I looked for the safe by the hole in the fence. It was gone.
I don't know if somebody threw away the safe because they were closing their locker and didn't want to take it with them. And the guy I saw was a scavenger just grabbing valuable trash.
Or if somebody broke into a locker and stole the safe. And took it off the property thru the hole in the west side block fence. [After I talked to you on Tuesday, it sounds like this is what happened]
I talked to another guy I see all the time and he also said the hole in the fence seemed to be enlarged. He also mentioned the brick was moved around. I agree with him on the the brick was sitting with the long side on the ground in the past. Now it's sitting with the short side on the ground. And it has moved a little bit to the north.
Any how from the date and times I have given you, you guys have enough information to review your videotapes and see if anything suspicious was going on. And of course look at the log files of people entering and leaving the place from the
digital locks on the entrance.
Also I attached some of the photos I took around June 10, 2018 of the hole and the photos I took yesterday on Tuesday October 30, 2018.
