PRESS RELEASE - RAD files initiatives to legalize marijuana and legalize ALL drugs.

PRESS RELEASE - PRESS RELEASE - PRESS RELEASE

RAD or Releaglize All Drugs filed two
initiatives with the Arizona Secretary of
State's office to legalize drugs in Arizona
on November 13, 2018.

One initiative is 100% complete and total
legalization of marijuana in Arizona in 2020.

The initiative allows anybody to possess,
grow or sell any amount of marijuana. All
criminal penalties for marijuana crimes
are removed.

RAD thinks we can get collect enough signatures
to get the marijuana initiative on the ballot
and that the public will pass the marijuana
initiative.

For the 2016 election cycle AZFRM got 120,000
signatures in their effort to legalize marijuana.
For the 2018 election cycle Safer Arizona got
70,000 signatures in their effort to legalize
marijuana.

RAD thinks in the 2020 election cycle we can
get the 325,000 or so signatures required.

The other initiative is 100% complete and total
legalization of all drugs including heroin and
cocaine in Arizona.

Since in the past only about a third of the
people that sign the RAD marijuana initiative
also sign the all drugs initiative, RAD doesn't
think this we will be able to get the initiative
that legalizes all drugs including heroin and
cocaine on the ballot. But RAD thinks it will be
a starting point to educate the people that the
"War on Drugs" needs to be ended for ALL drugs,
not just marijuana.

First RAD does not advocate recreational drug
use of marijuana or any other drug. That should
be an individual's choice.

Second does RAD advocate that people have a right
to drive around stoned or go to work stoned. If
people use drugs, they should use them in a way
they don't endanger other people.

RAD's position is the the "War on Drugs" has
been a dismal failure for the last 100 years and
needs to be ended.

RAD's position is that if drug abuse is a problem,
it should be a medical problem between a person
and their doctor. Not a criminal problem between
the person, the police and the courts.

Sadly the Prohibition which made liquor illegal
was a perfect example that making drug abuse, or
in that cause liquor abuse illegal is a dismal
failure.

The Prohibition of liquor created far more
problems than it solved.

The Prohibition created criminal gangs that
sold liquor, and caused numerous crimes
including routine murders. The "War on Drugs"
does the same thing.

The Prohibition created a black market for
liquor that caused crime because of outrageously
high prices for liquor. People would steal to
get their liquor because of outrageously high
liquor prices. The same is true with the "War
on Drugs".

The the black market liquor created by the
Prohibition also caused numerous people to
be, sickened, poisoned or killed by liquor
that didn't meet the quality controls of a
free market. The "War on Drugs" does the same
thing, and thousands of people routinely get
sick or die from drugs that didn't meet the
quality controls of a free market.

Sadly the "War on Drugs" has been a failure
identical to the nation's "War on Liquor"
called the Prohibition.
